The Germ Handbook
Leslie Ann Dauphin
Leslie Ann Dauphin works as a microbiologist at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. This member of Creflo Dollar’s World Changers Church has written a handbook which encourages people to take charge of their health. The Germ Handbook was written to inform the public how to protect themselves and their families from infectious diseases like strep throat, colds, flus, STDS and more. Dr. Dauphin includes up-to-date research about cancer, diabetes and several other diseases in the handbook as well.
Quite a few health handbooks have been created to resemble a text book format. In some cases they may catch dust because of their enormous size, small text and medical terminology. The Germ Handbook was designed to be easily accessible. From the size of the book to layout of the pages, the handbook reflects a user friendly format. Dr. Dauphin has a Ph.D. but anyone can read and understand her writing and advice. Her writing is warm and down to earth and at times the book simply reads like a good magazine article. Related scriptures are included throughout the handbook reminding readers of the importance of taking care of the temple (body).
The Germ Handbook is a well-rounded valuable resource for any home bookshelf.
