TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE by Trish Perry Rennie Young is still getting used to life after divorce over a year after the divorce is over. Her ex-husband has just notified the adoption agency that the no longer want to want to proceed with adopting the little boy Rennie fell in love with. Rennie is heartbroken. She goes to Walmart to look for a shirt for the little boy she won’t be adopting after all, but faints in the boys department. When she comes to she finds a male OB/GYN nurse taking her pulse. Truman Sayers seems to be instantly attracted to Rennie, if only Rennie can believe that a second chance at love might be hers…if she learns to trust again. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE is the sequel to The Guy I’m Not Dating though the story stands alone. Rennie is a realistic heroine, loveable and caring, and her best friend is truly a heroine in her own right. Truman is an awesome man in a female dominated field, and he truly is compassionate. The faith message is expertly woven into the story line, though a bit strong at times. I totally loved TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE and am looking forward to reading more about the characters. I hope to see many more books by this talented author. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE is too good to be missed. $12.99. 317 pages. Reviewed by Laura V. Hilton
