A TEXAS LEGACY CHRISTMAS
by Diann Mills
Zack Kahler is tired of the cold and snow of New York City and ready to head back to nice hot Texas to take over his hometown newspaper. But before he leaves, twin six-year-old pickpockets target him. Zack gets his wallet back, but when he goes to the orphanage to check on the children, he somehow discovers that he’s adopted them…
Chloe Weaver has had a hard life. She’s managed to find her first job and despite her boss’ prickly personality, she likes it. Especially after Zack and his two children move in. Chloe quickly falls in love with the well-behaved children, and soon Zack has her heart tied up in a bow.
Will Zack, Chloe, and the twins all find a Christmas miracle to help their dreams come true?
A TEXAS LEGACY CHRISTMAS is the final book in the Texas Legacy series, but even though there are three earlier books, this one easily stands alone. I enjoyed reading this series, and this book in particular, and look forward to many more stories by this talented author.
Zack is a loveable hero, kind and considerate. Chloe has had a rough life, but hasn’t allowed that to affect her sweet personality. I wanted these two to find happiness together. The twins did get into some scraps once Zack adopted them, but for the most part, they were just normal child things. The faith message is excellently woven in. A delicious sounding recipe is included at the end of the book. 286 pages. $12.95
