I love riding my motorcycle (very fast and way out in the country). I love writing, reading.  I love movies – just about every kind. I play golf, and love my dog Riley and my cats Bill and Ted.  I love classic Rock and Roll, my favorite band is Journey. I love classical crossover music, especially as I am writing and studying.

How do you find time to connect with God?

I make time for that most every morning, first thing. It has been my habit since I was a college student. I love to go outside, walk and pray. I try to stay in tune with God all day long, just talking son to Father.

 Who are your favorite authors? Favorite books?

I love history and biography, and my favorite author/speaker/hero is Winston Churchill. My favorite Christian writers: John R. W. Stott, C. S. Lewis, and Oswald Sanders. And I like Joel Osteen.

Tell us about your journey to publication.

I was asked by a publisher to write a chapter for a book on parenting. In a moment of faith and inspiration I called the publisher and asked if I could do the whole book. They agreed! I immediately looked in the mirror and said “what have you done, you idiot, you’ve never written a paper of twenty pages long!” I’ve never slowed down since.

It is a fun book to help married couples cut loose and enjoy a free, happy, fulfilling sex life.

How did you come up with ideas for this book?

Ask my wife and watch her blush! Seriously, my wife and I frequently speak on marriage seminars, and this is a topic we always cover. It is fun to talk about, and is a great need.

Lots of things in the works: a book exploring  the seven most important relationships in your life; a book for men based on the life of David, and a historical novel about David – his life and times – and more!!
