by Todd Starnes

With a title like that you know there’s going to be a lot of humor in this book. It’s not really an autobiography by Todd Starnes as it is a slice of his life. Todd is a network reporter and anchor for Fox News Radio. He does everything from being heard on the radio on 750 radio stations, to blogging, hosting the "Fox on Faith" and traveled with President Obama during his campaign.

The book covers a slice in Todd’s life before he took advantage of these opportunities. It covers the time in his life shortly before he had open heart surgery until shortly after his running in the New York marathon. The story is interesting and filled with a lot of humor. But don’t let that fool you. This was a very trying and scary time in his life and he says that if it wasn’t for his faith, he never would have made it through.

If you’re looking for a "how to" book, how to survive open heart surgery, how to lose over 100 lbs, or how to run a marathon, this is not that book. But if you’re looking for a book that will make you laugh yet touch your heart, this is the book for you. It’s an easy read so is suitable for most ages.
